Using ICC color profiles

Animo 2.0 applications support color calibration using ICC color profiles. These are often supplied with devices such as scanners; if not, you can generate them with a third party application (for example Kodak's Input Profile Builder, or FotoTune).

Using color calibration means that scanned images will appear the same color on any computer monitor and on the final output device, and that colors picked from the computer monitor will appear the same on other monitors and on the output device.
